Imagine that you have $200 to spend on your family and friends for Christmas. Develop a budget. First, decide on the people you need to shop for. Next, find a gift in the newspaper for each person on your list. List the date of the paper you found the item in, the section and page number for the item, the name of the item you would like to buy, and the price of the item. Last, subtract how much money you spent. Do you have any money left over? Use the worksheet to figure out the budget and explain your results here.
